I have been looking for a digital photo frame for a long time and it was either this one of the 11″ polaroid. Those were the only two I liked well enough to buy and own. HP and Polaroid are two great well known brand names. They have been around for a long time. I was debating on buying this frame considering the reviews, but I wen’t for it and I am so glad I did. This is a beautiful digital photo frame. I love it. My mom even loves it and she did not like the polaroid one. I recommend this frame to everyone that is wanting to buy a frame. When I inserted a memory card, it got stuck though, but it was because I got it in too far. Also I started having problems with the power button, it will turn on, but can’t turn it off for some reason, but it used to. You have to hold the power button down for a while though to turn the frame on. I have over 100 pictures on it and no problems. Downloading pictures onto it is a breeze. The picture frame has 512mb of internal memory on it. The pictures on it are excellent. I also bought a toshiba 8 gb. usb flash drive for it and I have one video and over 100 songs on it and no problems. Works fantastic. Music sounds great. Read more...

I ordered this frame as a gift and I’m really impressed with the photo size and quality. It was easy to set up and the remote is a great feature. I love the size of the photos in this frame and they look great. Vertical shots are cropped a bit, but not so that they are awful. The only wrinkle in its operation is getting back to the slide show after the frame has been turned off. It’s not automatic – or at least we haven’t figured out how to make it automatic. Otherwise it is operating beautifully. I’m also pleased that it has a 1 year warranty. I had purchased a different brand at Christmas for the same person and that frame only lasted about 5 months before it just stopped working. Granted, they are on almost 24-7 but what good are they if you can’t have them on? Read more...

I’ve had my photo frame for close to a year. The general appearance is very nice and the picture quality is excellent. By the way, the box says it is 640×480, but the User’s Manual says it is 800×600. I put fairly high resolution photos on it which makes it nice for using the zoom feature.
I agree with some reviews that the remote can be difficult to use. It seems like you have to have it pointed in a specific spot on the screen for it to work. I don’t use the remote very much, though. I load photos on a card from my PC and just turn the photo frame on every day at work.
One problem I have had is with the support on the back. It doesn’t snap in tightly enough and has a tendency to fall off, causing the frame to fall over. I’ve got it taped in place. Not ideal, but the problem is solved.
I don’t use a lot of the extra features. The display quality is great, the picture size is large and it isn’t very expensive compared to a lot of others. Read more...

Good looking frame. Excellent picture quality. Clear and crisp display. Highly ‘tune-able’.
Only two ’shortcomings’:
1. The memory card slot is shared for SD, MS, etc. It wil take all four formats, but only one at a time. Not really a big problem.
2. The operations are not intuitive, and I really needed to experiment for a while to figure out how to get what I wanted perfectly. Again, not a huge problem, it will do almost anything you want, but it may take you a while to figure out how.
I nevertheless gave it 5 stars, because of the excellent price! It’s considerably less than any other of comparable quality. (The high price ones usually are easier to operate)
Don’t get this for anyone who is technically totally inept, but if they could program their VCR, they can figure this out… And the quality is as good as the higher priced ones. Read more...
